Secondly, let's discuss the part where she jabs the pen in the mountain lion's eye.

There is a story that my grandpa used to tell my brother and I growing up, called The Three Billy Goats Gruff. He died a couple of years ago, and I'd been thinking about the story, so I bought the book for my nephew.
At my mom's side of the family Christmas this year (it was my mom's dad), my cousin Brandon and I were tag-team reading this book to my nephew, and all of a sudden Hunter looked at us and said "and poke out da eye!" Over and over again.
Obviously Nell had heard this story. And forgot she wasn't a goat and thus did not have a horn with which to poke out the mountain lion's eye.

I like the way they shot the two mountain lions to then test them, to see if one of them was the right one.
& the moral of the story is...make sure you buy top-of-the-line ball point pens, just so that if you ever need to poke out a mountain lion's eye... you can write with it afterwards.
